Just joined a cool on-line group called "Designing Swanky Moms". I'm excited to be part of the group-they seem like a really caring, supportive network of women. Lots of them have beautiful handmade products in Etsy shops and their own on-line shops. Check 'em out!

Weekend of Bliss!

What a great weekend I just had!! I went to a scrapbooking retreat in North Conway, NH, hosted by the gals at Crop,Paper,Scissors.(http://www.croppaperscissorsonline.com/index.html) So much fun. I went with my sister-in-law, Monique, and we are definitely making this an annual trip. How wonderful to have nothing to do all weekend but crop. Someone else fed and cleaned up after us (for a change), no rambunctious toddlers, no husbands (no offense, Babe), so much room to work, other creative women to interact with. Truly, the most fun I've had since I don't remember when. Photos are forthcoming...

Good Morning! Well, I guess it's time to take down my Halloween decor (heavy sigh). The pumpkins are staying 'til after Thanksgiving though! And Halloween items have been removed from our CafePress Shop. Soon we'll be adding Holiday goods.

Autumn 2006 Review

Here's a view of our Autumn 2006 Collection. We loved it so much we're showing it again! Fall seems to be a great time for primitive, country style with a little whimsey-and we're crazy for the orange/black color combo. Next up, Autumn 2007 Collection. You'll be seeing more crows, more black & orange, more Country. Stay tuned...

Barnyard Beauty

We love roosters!! So majestic. Here's a beauty we'll be featuring on some of our upcoming Fall products. We're hoping to do a Fall Show in September, and some Autumn themed items will be getting posted to our Etsy shop in September as well. In the meantime, Michele will be working on the companions to this piece- a cow and sheep. The Barnyard Menagerie.

Greetings! With my husband's encouragement and favorable response to recent work, I've decided to throw myself wholeheartedly into my collage work. I'm so excited-I plan on creating a whole line of collage art that will incorporate my recent obsession-vintage elements. Look for more old keys,antique lace, and beautiful time-worn sheet music and letters. It'll be fun for us at the studio to create new products based on the new work. Wish us luck!
